Salts and Patty Pans

Glass salts date from c1780 and were often on diamond shaped pedestals with lemon squeezer bases. It is becoming more and more difficult to find pairs of them. Patty pans also date from the same period, and often have folded rims. They are highly desirable and no two are the same. Although salts were originally made only for salt, they are ideal for pepper, mustard and mint sauce too.
